When the thickness of plated parts is greater than 4 mm, the zinc adhesion should not be less than 610 g/m, that is, the average thickness of zinc layer should not be less than 86 microns. Standard galvanized wire coating must be uniform, galvanized layer basically uniform with copper sulfate solution test etching five times no dew iron. For standard galvanized wire coating adhesion requirements, the zinc layer of plated parts should be firmly combined with the basic metal and have enough adhesion strength, after hammer test does not fall off, not convex.

Poor pretreatment before plating; Bath temperature is too low; Poor quality of additives or too many additives and organic impurities will cause poor bonding. The quality of additives also has an effect on coating foaming. Some additives react incompletely during synthesis and continue to polymerize during long-term storage or use. The additive tends to distort the crystal lattice and cause stress, causing the coating to bubble.

Compared with other galvanizing processes, galvanized steel wire has low cleaning requirements before plating. However, under the current trend of increasing the quality level of galvanized layer, some pollutants brought into the plating tank are obviously harmful. Because cleaning galvanized coating wastes a lot of time and reduces production, it is very important to properly clean and effectively rinse the substrate before electroplating.
