Chinese manufacturers are able to produce high-quality lithopone at a competitive price, making it an attractive option for companies looking to reduce their production costs. Despite the challenges of production, China's lithium industry continues to thrive and innovate, ensuring a stable and reliable supply of this essential pigment for years to come.

While IARC listed titanium dioxide as “possibly carcinogenic to humans,” they also add that “there is inadequate evidence in humans for the carcinogenicity of titanium dioxide.” Of the four human studies that they reviewed, only one showed a potential risk for occupational workers inhaling titanium dioxide particles and lung cancer, while the other three showed no risk for cancer at all. And it’s key to note that IARC did not assess the effects of titanium dioxide found in foods.

Thanks to its rheological and optical properties, Lithopone 30% offers both technical and economic advantages in the substitution of titanium dioxide in different applications. Among these advantages, it has been observed that Lithopone 30% has algaecidal properties in paints, which gives greater protection to the coating. 

According to the feedback of manufacturers, the new orders of mainstream factories maintain stable prices, and the new volume of the market after the holiday is limited. On the demand side, the terminal basically has batch replenishment before the festival, and the purchase intention of new orders is low; On the supply side, mainstream manufacturers normally produce and deliver goods, and the actual output of the industry is stable. Most factories quote a new price of 17,000 yuan/ton or more market negotiation range reference 16000-17200 yuan/ton, plastics and papermaking related downstream feedback part of the tight model price is higher.
